Answer: Uniuyo Post UTME is a screening test administered by the University of Uyo to enable them admit eligible students into various programmes and courses offered by the institution.

(4) What is UNIUYO cut off Point?
Answer: The normal JAMB cut off point for University of Uyo, UNIUYO is 180 aggregate, though you will need a higher score if you are looking for admission in courses like Medicine, Pharmacy or Law

(5) How can I Buy and register for UNIUYO Post UTME Examination

(8)  How is UNIUYO Post UTME Examination?
Answer: Uniuyo Post UTME Examination comprises 100 question. 25 questions in each subject related to your course. For instance your course of study is Mechanical Engineering, your question paper will compose of (i) 25 question Use of English (compulsory to all candidates) (ii) 25 questions Mathematics (iii) 25 questions Chemistry and (iv) 25 questions Physics. Total of 100 questions

(9) What is the Duration of UNIUYO Post UTME Examination?
Answer: Thank you for this question. This is very important point for you to note. The duration of UNIUYO Post UTME Examination is one (1) hour only.

(10) Is UNIUYO Post UTME Examination Computer Based?
Answer: At the moment, Uniuyo Post UTME Examination is NOT Computer Based, rather it paper and pencil test.

(11) What is the Requirements for UNIUYO POst UTME Examination?
Answer: This is another very important point to note by candidates.
The requirement are;
(a) Candidates are required to come for the Screening Test with the following items:
a. Four (4) copies of the University of Uyo 2014 ON-LINE registration form duly completed with the passport-size photograph printed in colour. Note: Only colour printout will be accepted.
b. 2014 JAMB (UTME) Result printout
c. Four (4) recent passport-size photographs on red background (same photograph as the one used for the on-line registration) with the name, UTME registration number and signature of the candidate written on the reverse side of the photographs. These should be packaged in quarto- size envelope and labeled with name, department and JAMB
registration number.
d. HB pencil, eraser and sharpener.

(12)Do they Allow calculator in the exam hall?
Answer: No GSM handsets, calculators or any other extraneous materials should be brought into the screening halls.

(13) Is there runs in UNIUYO Admission?
Answer: NO, there is no runs in UNIUYO admission. UNIUYO Admissions is based on merit.

(14) Do UNIUYO Employs Tribalism in Admission?
Answer: NO, UNIUYO admission is purely based on merit. You can ask already admitted students and they will proudly tell you that if you merit the admission, your name will be published on the admission list irrespective of where you come from. To add to this, everybody pays flat school fees, unlike other universities in Nigeria, where indigene pays less than non-Indigene.

(15) What is Admission Cut Off Mark for My course?
Answer: This is very difficult question to answer, but I will try to explain it for your understanding. Here is my explanations: There is no stipulated admission cut off point for any course in UNIUYO. The University of UYO does her admission into any department based on demand for that department. See, for instance, they were looking for 60 students in Medicine and Surgery for admissions, the first 60 students who had highest scores will be admitted. That’s all. This list is called MERIT LIST.

(16) What If I don’t Make the Merit List, Is there 2nd List?
Answer: Yes, If you have upto 180 aggregate scores in Post UTME but could not make the merit list, you’ll be given an opportunity to buy another PIN (usually =N=1000) and apply (supplement) for any other available department that needs more students. You may be lucky to be admitted there.
