Uniuyo School Fees by Faculty (New & Returning)

UNIUYO school fees for 2025/2026 run ₦111,600 for new students in most faculties, rising to ₦136,600 for Engineering, Law, Pharmacy and Architecture and ₦171,600 for Medicine, Dentistry and Allied Health. Returning students pay less — roughly ₦72,450 to ₦132,450 depending on faculty and level. New students also pay a one-time acceptance fee (₦30,000) and caution fee on top. Fees nearly doubled from the 2024/2025 session, so treat the invoice your own portal generates as the final word.

These are full-session totals (first and second semester combined) for 100-level students. They exclude the acceptance and caution fees new students pay separately. Direct Entry students pay ₦2,000 more than the 100-level figure in each band.

The two sources that published a full 2025/2026 breakdown agree on these three bands. Human Nutrition, though an Allied Health course, is reported in the ₦111,600 band rather than the ₦171,600 one — confirm your department on the portal.

First semester costs more than second

The session total is split unevenly across the two semesters, with the larger charge in first semester. For 2025/2026 the reported splits are:

• Standard faculties (₦111,600): ₦65,850 first semester, ₦45,750 second
• Engineering / Law / Pharmacy / Architecture (₦136,600): ₦80,850 first, ₦55,750 second
• Medicine / Dentistry / Allied Health (₦171,600): ₦98,350 first, ₦73,250 second

What a fresher pays in total

A new student’s first-session outlay is the faculty fee above plus one-off charges:

• Acceptance fee — ₦30,000, paid once after admission
• Caution fee — ₦2,000, paid once
• Hostel/bed space, if allocated — ₦20,000–₦80,000 depending on hostel and room, charged separately

So an Arts fresher pays about ₦111,600 in school fees plus ₦30,000 acceptance and ₦2,000 caution for the first session; a Medicine fresher pays about ₦171,600 plus the same one-off charges, before accommodation.

How fees changed

UNIUYO fees have risen steeply. The 2024/2025 session ran roughly ₦55,250–₦62,250 for new students; 2025/2026 nearly doubled that to ₦111,600–₦171,600. Because the increase has been this sharp and the university rarely publishes one clean official document, do not assume an older figure still holds — confirm against the invoice your own portal generates before you pay.
