The University of Uyo Teaching Hospital, Uyo is located about 6 kilometers from the centre of Uyo, accessed through an excellent dual carriage way along Uyo Abak Road. The Hospital is a referral centre and also provides primary and secondary health care services.
It is an approved facility for treatment of NHIS and corperate clients. There are three specialized services within the Hospital viz: Renal Dialysis, Intensive Care Unit and Molecular Virology (PCR) Laboratory Unit.
