To register for the UNIUYO post-UTME screening, log in to the University of Uyo e-portal at eportals.uniuyo.edu.ng (or admissions.uniuyo.edu.ng), pay the application fee (reported as ₦2,000) through Remita, then complete your bio-data form online and print the acknowledgement slip. You must have scored at least 150 in UTME with UNIUYO as your first choice. This guide walks you through it step by step, with screenshots.
The official 2026/2027 notice confirms two conditions: UNIUYO must be your first choice and you must have scored at least 150 in UTME. It sets out online registration and document upload and does not publish a registration deadline; third-party sites report the window closing in early August, so confirm the current dates on the portal before you start.
Before you start
- Your JAMB UTME result and registration number
- UNIUYO chosen as your first choice on JAMB (the University does not screen second-choice candidates)
- The application fee (reported as ₦2,000) plus small Remita charges, and an ATM card or bank access
Step 1
Go to eportals.uniuyo.edu.ng (older links use uniuyo.edu.ng/eportals).

Step 2
Click the Admission Forms link on the left of the page, as shown below.

Step 3
On the page that loads, select Post UTME, then enter your JAMB registration number, email and phone number. Click the green Make Payment button.

Step 4
A 12-digit Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR) is generated. Copy it down and keep it safe; you need it to pay and to retrieve your login details.

Step 5: Pay the application fee
Pay the fee shown on your Remita invoice with the RRR. You can pay directly on the portal with an ATM card or internet banking, at any commercial bank branch, or on remita.net by choosing Pay an Electronic Invoice and entering your RRR.

Step 6
Enter your ATM card details, then the one-time password (OTP) sent to your phone, and submit. A success message confirms payment.

Step 7: Get your login details
Return to eportals.uniuyo.edu.ng. Click Admission Forms > Register, enter your RRR and click Get Login Details. Your registration number and access code appear on screen; write them down or take a photo.

Step 8: Log in and complete the form
Click Candidate Login, enter your registration number and access code, and log in.

Some details are pulled in from your JAMB record. Click Start Registration, then fill each section in turn:

- Bio-data — enter your personal details and save.
- Contact details — enter and save.
- Medical / sponsor details and Academic details — on academic details, enter each subject grade and click Add Subject.
Step 9: Upload and finish
Upload your red-background passport photograph, then click Finish Registration. A “successfully registered” message confirms you are done.

Print your screening acknowledgement/registration slip and keep a copy. That completes your UNIUYO post-UTME registration.
Next steps
- Work out your UNIUYO aggregate score
- Check your department’s cut-off mark
- Documents you will need for freshers’ screening
