All federal universities have catchment areas. Catchment area is the geographical location of the university, and it is a policy that favours the indigene of the geographical location of the university e.g Aspirants from south south states (Akwa Ibom, Edo,Cross River, Delta and River) and most south east states stand a better chance of gaining admission into uniuyo.
